Trailers From Hell

As a movie guy (even a bad movie guy), I have to say, I love trailers!  They're fun, they get you excited to see a movie and, sometimes they're even better than the movie itself!  So, when I discovered a site called Trailers From Hell, I had to admit that my curiosity was peaked.  And, if you're like me (and if you're not, you should seriously consider a change!!) you'll love it too!

What you get is today's coolest and greatest genre directors showing trailers and, instead of just watching a movie trailer, you get what is really a DVD commentary on the trailer from the director!  People like Joe Dante, John Landis and Edgar Wright all commenting on these cool movies in an honest way, not just hyping a movie.  It's a really cool way to experience these 'best parts of the movie' in a brand new way, and it's not just commentary about the movie, it's great facts about the movie.  The directors offer opinions about why the movie is so influential (or not influential, as the case may be) and, if nothing else, you can consider this a good introduction to some great movies you might not have seen or heard of before!  Here are just a couple of examples!

So you see, whether your a fan of the horror genre, or just a fan of movies, this is a really fun way to not only check out trailers for some cult or obscure movies, but it's also a great way to have a bit of fun and pick up some cool trivia about some of the best movies out there!  I'm giving Trailers From Hell four out of four cigars, because this is a site I find myself returning to again and again, in fact, every time they email me that there are new trailers, I hop over and check them out...and you should too!  So, until next time, when I'd ordinarily add my tag line that the 'best movies are bad movies', I think this time I'll change it to the best trailers are trailers from hell!
