Dead And Rotting

One of the most wondered questions of the ages is 'What happens after we die?'.  So I decided that in the knowledge out there in the video store, someone must have found the answer, so I went searching.  I started in the documentary section and I gotta tell you, there's really nothing over there worth watching.  Then I wandered into drama and the closest thing there was Flatliners and I refuse to sit through a Julia Roberts movie until she takes those acting lessons!  So, I thought for a minute, where would one look for answers to death and it came to me....of course, Horror!

So, I headed over to the horror section and looked around and there it was.  The answer to lifes questions.  It's called Dead and Rotting and it says right on the cover.  How does it feel when your Dead and Rotting?  This would hold my answers.  And those answers are...well, there weren't any answers really, just a really bad movie!

It's called Dead and Rotting and if you don't stop and at least look at the box, then the title isn't doing it's job!  And besides the title, there's really not much here.  This is the story of a witch, her familiar, three red neck construction workers and two stoners.  And you know how it is when redneck, stoners and witches collide...we all know that story a little too well don't we?  You could probably figure this out for yourself, but here we go.  The red necks hire the stoners to get the witch.  The witch kills a stoner and finds out who hired him.  The witch transforms herself into a hot chick and hunts the rednecks and kills them, until only one stoner and redneck remain, they team up and kill the witch, the end.

There's lots going on here, but mostly it's too dark to see anything.  And when it's not dark, it's back lit so you can see the shadow of something scary with a knife.  I'm giving Dead And Rotting one and a half out of four cigars, and that's really for the great title and not much else!  So, in answer to the question, How does it feel when your Dead and Rotting?  Well, just go ahead and rent the movie....you'll find out!  And remember until the next time the best movies are bad movies!
