Autumn Nights Studio's Bait

Those of you who know me, know I talk endlessly about a great short I saw last year called Bait.  Well, since I've started adding video to the site, I thought, why not just let you watch it for yourself!?!  So, here is Bait:

So, there you have it, Bait.  I would tell you a little more about it, but, what else is there to say?  Autumn Night's Hank Carlson and Matt Vaessen put together one of the greatest short horror movies I've ever seen...and let's not forget the considerable talent of A. Elizabeth Collins as 'bad girl'.  The good news is that Hank and Matt are doing their best to put together a feature length version of Bait, and I, for one, can't wait.  Bait is one of those movies that, despite it's short length, stands up to the Texas Chainsaws or the Hills Have Eyes of the film world.  It's short, but it leaves you wanting more, it's a short that I have to admit to watching on more than one occasion!

I'm giving Bait four out of four cigars, because it's just that good and it leaves you wanting more, which you really can't say of a lot of horror movies, no matter the length!  If you'd like more info about Hank, Matt or any of the Autumn Nights Studio crew, you can start by heading over to Bait's My Space Page that would be a start.  I'm heading to the It Came From Lake Michigan Film Festival this October and hope to catch up with Hank and Matt to see what's on their plate now...hopefully, it's not 'today's special'!!  So, until next time, when we'll share a recipe for weary traveler, remember that the best movies are bad movies.
