Hey, do you like the Jack Black? Me too! Do you like the Tenacious D? Me too! Do you like movies? Me too! So, combining the three things should be a great thing, right? WRONG! If you're looking for a movie that's a little confusing and more boring than funny, then you'll like Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny!



Here's the story: Young JB runs away from home to become a rocker. He meets up, years later, with KG, who teaches him the ways of rock. When they discover that all the great rockers in history have used the same guitar pick, a pick forged from the devil's tooth, they go in search of this pick in order to become great rockers themselves. That's about it, there are some good jokes in the story, but most of those are already in the trailer.

If you're a hardcore Tenacious D fan then you're gonna love this movie, if you...like me...are just a moderate fan of the band, then you're probably going to be bored about half an hour in. I'm giving Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny two out of four cigars,
