Keeping Up With Junk

Alright, I've been a little re-miss in updating my page, but I have an excuse. First, I've changed my life around a little, the old Bad Movie Guy is starting to get a little exercise so that I'm not the Big Bad Movie Guy any more! Second, I've been organizing my pictures and my thoughts for a (hopefully) nice article about the Chicago Weekend Of Horrors for Rogue Cinema. Plus, I've been getting together what will (again hopefully) be a great interview with Christopher Garetano. I had the opportunity to see Chris' great documentary Horror Business at the Weekend Of Horrors and it's great! You can check it out at Horror Business Movie.com. That'll be in April's issue of Rogue Cinema too!

But, on the homefront, I'm working on a cigar and a movie trade with Rob over at KO Picture Show.com, basically Rob and I have picked cigars and movies for each other and we'll review both at our respective sites! Just a quick preview, I got the package over the weekend and the movies look bad and the cigar looks good...just like I like it! So, there's that to look forward too! But, I'm still here, I'm working hard, and hopefully, within the week there'll be a ton of new stuff here for everyone who loves the bad movies as much as I do!

Greeting From Chi-Town

Hello all! Well, it's Saturday, it's about 6:15am local time and here I sit in a hotel in Chicago waiting not-so-patiently for the opening of the Fangoria Weekend Of Horrors! It's the first time I've attended an event of this scale, I've been to other conventions, but this is huge! There are a ton of my favorite b-movie celebs here; George Romero, Tom Savini, Michael Rooker, Kane Hodder, Joe Estevez, Misty Mundae just to name a few off the top of my head! The guys at work...non-horror guys...were excited because Jenna Fischer is appearing here, she plays Pam on NBC's The Office and she's been voted by the Engineering staff at WJR in Detroit as one of the hottest chicks on TV, so any photo ops will be taken with great glee! Personally I was a little more excited about the movies they're screening here, Slither, Katiebird*Certifable Crazy Person, Shock-O-Rama and more than I can remember right now!

I'll report more here, maybe tomorrow, but at least next week, and there'll be a full blown article in April's Rogue Cinema at so keep an eye peeled there for more!

And remember the best movies are bad movies!!!
